Sonali Patel is working to broadly understand individual decision making and the history of bioethics, along with the ethical challenges presented in research and treatment of Parkinson's disease. Prior to joining CBDSM, she provided communities with the tools, support, and mechanisms to improve HIV/AIDS education, services, and delivery. She has also worked extensively on public health issues abroad and, more recently, on a national campaign aimed at mobilizing communities to get tested for HIV. Sonali holds an MPH from Boston University with a concentration in epidemiology and international health, and a BS form the University of Virginia. Outside of work she enjoys painting, biking, and traveling.
